Estimate defaults
Margin and contingency applied to every new estimate, including AI and walkthrough ones. Leave blank to use 20% / 10% and let the AI suggest the margin. You can still change both on each estimate.
Client estimate: payment and terms
The payment schedule printed on the client PDF depends on the estimate price before tax. Each estimate picks its tier automatically; you can still change it on the estimate. You are using the built-in tiers.
Cost rates
What the AI estimator assumes things cost you. A rate you type here always wins; if you have not typed one, your own payroll is used; only if neither exists does it fall back to regional reference data. These are costs — wages before burden and margin — not what you charge.
